Antimicrobial coatings have been around for a long time. But how about preventing microorganisms from adhering to the surfaces in the first place? The coatings developed by Flux Polymers do just that and have now been applied to various surfaces in a pilot project at the Dernbach Group Katharina Kasper Heart-Jesus Hospital. The #Hygieneinstitutschubert is accompanying this development and testing the long-term suitability of the Flux Polymers coatings for #cleaning and #hospitalhygiene.
